hey folks, next weekend is the vancouver comic arts festival! it’s the second year (evar), so you should definitely come and check it out, because it will be even better than last year’s amazing event. and don’t forget, admission is 100% free! i will be there at table E7 in the yaletown roundhouse (right next to the entrance, so you can’t miss me). i’m hoping to have a new black and white minicomic in tow, but time has not really been mine this month (i moved to a new place at the beginning of the month AND i’m graduating this week!) regardless, i will have copies of futori the eevee, hourlies and everything else, lots of greeting cards, buttons, and some fun felt-y things too. so please come visit me! there are a lot of really, really cool people that will be there in addition to my nerdy self, you can learn more about them on the vancaf website. see you then!

i made this for the animal cross zine, but i missed the deadline, etc, etc. so i coloured it and here it is for you!

i wanted to write a piece that made tom nook not look like a bell-grubbing tanuki and riff on the in-game rumour that timmy and tommy aren’t actually nook’s “nephews”. the moral of the story: we all choose our debts. also crazy redd is in the yakuza (???) i guess.
